Update Australia July 2011

OK its update time again so let me bring everyone up to speed with what's been happening in Australia.

Sandi is still employed by Telstra in the CEO Complaints Resolution Centre however unfortunately Sandi suffered a sudden and unexpected illness on the 26th February, initially requiring hospitalization for a  couple of weeks followed by an extended period of home confinement with daily nurse visits until the middle of May when further remedial surgery was done.
As a result she has now made a recovery and all things being equal, she will continue to improve and she has returned to work as before. In my case, when she initially became sick and confined to the home I took time off work which has resulted in my being presently unemployed however I am looking around and hopefully it won't be too long before I find a suitable position.
Due to the issues that we have had we have not really been anywhere lately to add photos therefore I have left the previous pages and no doubt we will be taking lots of new photos on the trip as mentioned next.

We were previously booked to travel back to the USA for a visit on the 2nd June however for obvious reasons this had to be changed and we will now be leaving on the 31st August for three weeks returning to Australia on the 23rd September. We will be arriving at LA and then the plan is to drive across the country through Nevada, Arizona, Missouri, Ohio, Pittsburgh,  - all the parts in between and finally back to LA for the return trip. We are really looking forward to catching up with friends and relatives so we will see you then!
